Column Colour Registry entry

Specify the background color of a field when displaying records.

Specifying a background color for a field is an effective way to draw attention to it. This can be achieved using the Column Colour Registry setting.

Usage

This Registry entry can be assigned to users and groups:

where:

column

is the back-end name for a field to which the background color is applied.

color

can be either:

  • Blue
  • Green
  • Red
  • Brown
  • Yellow

    -OR-

  • An HTML color code, e.g. #FFFF00
    Also known as a Hex triplet. See Wikipedia for details and a list of HTML color codes.

Examples

This entry gives the Party Type: (Party Details) field a yellow background for all users:
