With the Task Templates module it is possible to design templates for regular tasks. Users can set up a task list for a specific occasion and then, instead of creating a new list of interdependent tasks each time, they can invoke a task template and modify the dates for the specific occasion.
In many modules it is possible to schedule a list of tasks related to a record. Task details include the:
- Person who assigned the task
- Person to whom the task was assigned
- Commencement and completion dates for the task
- Length of time taken to complete the task
A task history is displayed in the Tasks list on the Tasks tab:

Tip: It is possible to add a task to a record without creating a Task Template, but if the tasks are repeated regularly it is more efficient to create a Task Template.
